The 2024 Svartpilen 801 is the latest expansion of the naked motorcycle line-up.
It combines exceptional versatility, performance, and style for the streets. Its minimalist, scrambler-inspired design features a new compact and powerful parallel-twin engine, perfectly balanced tubular frame, and refined ergonomics for an engaging, intuitive ride.
Complete with adjustable WP suspension, state-of-the art electronic aids, and finished with sharp lines and dark colours, the Svartpilen 801 allows each rider to set their own tone for urban riding.
A lightweight tapered aluminium handlebar, WP steering damper, and forged aluminium triple clamps allow for maximum control and comfort with a steel crossbar hinting at the brand’s offroad heritage.
The contoured 14-litre fuel tank is housed inside a unique cover with its shape allowing for both a lower and straighter seat that offers unrestricted movement while riding.
A premium aluminium filler cap is finished with a machined Husqvarna Motorcycles logo to complete the look.
The seat is tapered from the front for easy access and movement while riding. Made from high-quality materials and carefully engineered foam, the seat offers assured comfort and durability with padded, heat-stamped ribs improving traction in wet weather.
Integrated front and rear LED lights and turn signals add to the progressive and minimalist design of the Svartpilen 801.
Positioned neatly around the headlight, the unique LED ring offers clear visibility in all conditions to make riding safer for the rider and other road users.
Easy Shift is integrated as a standard feature to ensure all upward gear changes are as smooth as possible.
Once the EMS registers movement on the gear lever, it momentarily limits power, ensuring seamless upshifts. For a simplified riding experience, the clutch is not needed when changing gear on the Svartpilen 801.
The Svartpilen 801 is powered by a 799 cc, parallel-twin engine.
State-of-the-art and extremely light, this compact engine offers reliability, durability, and efficiency thanks to a wide range of technical innovations that combine to deliver an outstanding ride.
The Svartpilen 801 features an anti-wheelie mode offering five separate levels of control, from Very Low to Very High, which allow for a specific degree of wheelie.
Experienced riders can also switch the mode off completely for complete control of the motorcycle.
Engine braking is controlled by Motor Slip Regulation (MSR) which balances throttle application in the event of high engine drag torque caused by down shifting or abrupt closing of the throttle.
The MSR ensures smooth deceleration to afford extra safety, especially in low grip situations, to reassure beginners and experienced riders alike.
Lightweight 17″ 5-spoke cast alloy wheels are a design standout of the Svartpilen 801, with a discreetly embedded Husqvarna Motorcycles logo.
Strong and stable with clean lines, the wheels are fitted with Pirelli MT60 RS tyres, offering outstanding grip and durability on all road surfaces.
With the Connectivity Unit fitted as standard, the Svartpilen 801 provides riders with various features to enhance their riding experience.
With a smartphone connected via Bluetooth, music can be played and controlled, and calls can be made or received.
The Remote-control Mode (RCM) enables the rider to control the Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles app with buttons on the handlebar for added safety and simplicity.
Once downloaded onto a smartphone before riding, the Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles app offers connectivity and unlimited exploration.
When paired with the Svartpilen 801, Turn-by-Turn navigation on your device can be displayed on the TFT dashboard allowing riders to easily follow directions and take the fastest route between A and B
The state-of-the-art parallel-twin engine offers exceptional performance, reliability, and serviceability.
Thanks to the advanced engineering techniques used during the assembly of each engine, the oil, oil filter, and air filter only need to be replaced every 15,000 kilometres after an initial oil change at 1,000 kilometres.

- The 2024 Norden 901, Norden 901 Expedition and Svartpilen 801 can all have their standard warranty extended from 24 months until the next service, up to a maximum of four years from the initial take-into-use date.
- Official Husqvarna Motorcycles Spare Parts and Technical Accessories used on all street motorcycles will also have a full 24-month warranty from date of purchase. This warranty extension applies to Spare Parts and Technical Accessories bought from January 2024 onwards.
- The manufacturer’s warranty will be automatically extended following servicing at an authorised Husqvarna Motorcycles dealer. Owners need to take no further action and the new warranty expiry date will be noted on the service printout issued at the end of the appointment.
- Should the motorcycle be subsequently sold, the warranty period will be carried over to the new owner. The warranty stays with the motorcycle.
- The free warranty extension is valid worldwide, in all markets and territories, but applies only to the 2024 Norden 901, Norden 901 Expedition and Svartpilen 801. The terms and conditions are identical to those of the initial manufacturer’s warranty.
