If you want to stay ahead, choose a KTM motorbike
If you want a motorcycle that's fast, reliable, and keeps you ahead of the pack, get ready for a KTM adventure! It could be the ride of your life.
P&H Motorcycles have recently acquired the KTM franchise for Sussex and have moved what was formally Sussex Sport Motorcycles, Burgess Hill, into the fold, Tony and Wendy included. P&H have long been looking forward to the arrival of KTM and look forward to getting to know all the Sussex Sport Motorcycles customers and welcoming them to the Dealership. Interest in the orange machines from customers new to the KTM brand has been great and several motorcycles were sold in the first week to customers who had never owned a KTM before.
KTM is an Austrian motorcycle manufacturer with a world-renowned reputation for making fantastically powerful and superbly constructed off-road and on-road machines. KTM motorcycles have been at the cutting edge of motorcycle technology since the first KTM motorbike left the factory in 1934. KTM was, for example, the first major motorcycle manufacturer to introduce a liquid-cooled four-stroke motorcycle engine, a hydraulic clutch mechanism, a linkless rear suspension, and the first to include both rear and front disc brakes into its off-road motorcycle design. The KTM supermoto bike, a competition-ready model, is also one of the highpoints of KTMs considerable achievements.
KTM's output today is also phenomenal. In 2005, the company manufactered 80,000 KTM motorbikes for the world market for on-road and off-road use. In fact, the KTM motorbike is highly favoured by off-road riders because of its unique design, with KTM parts such as the hydraulic clutch and front and rear suspension giving it a great advantage over rough terrain. KTM bikes need no modification at all before racing, and do so with great success: the KTM Dakar rally wins are rapidly becoming a legend, with an unbroken run since 2001.
Always up for new challenges, KTM is currently producing and developing its range and is now investing in superbikes. New for 2008 is the KTM Superduke 990, which will boast a high output upgraded LC8 engine to provide the power range necessary for road racing. Also in the superbike range will be with KTM RC8, which has a stonking 1190cc LC8 engine, ideal for midrange racing.
KTM motorcycles are very popular throughout Europe, and there are plenty of KTM dealers in the UK, now including P & H Motorcycles. We supply new KTM motorbikes and all the KTM parts and KTM spares that you might need, so get ready to see some bikes that will get your pulse racing. |
