Scrambler Ducati – Production Begins
Ducati Scrambler production begins!
The much anticipated Ducati Scrambler has finally begun production, with the very first model rolling off the production line at Borgo Panigale this week.
Forty years since the final Ducati Scrambler was produced in the 1970’s, the Ducati factory has recommenced the assembly, just six months after first announcing the updated model. Seen as the birth of a new brand and a new approach that looks beyond performance and technology, the Ducati Scrambler aims to encompass freedom of expression, fun and shared positivity.
Those of you who visited the Motorcycle Live Show at the NEC recently will have seen the bright yellow mini stand dedicated to the Scrambler with promotional staff in yellow Hawaiian outfits… very different!
Celebrating the production launch of a new bike with employees is a long standing tradition at Ducati and the very first Scrambler was greeted in similarly fashionable style. The technicians and the workers who designed the machine were greeted by Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, together with Silvano Fini, Manager of the Borgo Panigale plant. The area at the end of the Ducati Scrambler assembly line also hosted the “Land of Joy” which featured a green lawn, music and street food.
The Ducati Scrambler will arrive at P&H Motorcycles in February.
