Yamaha and Akrapovic sign exclusive aftersales deal
Yamaha and Akrapovic have combined to produce a new set of exhaust systems.Yamaha has strengthened its relationship with motorcycle parts manufacturer Akrapovic with a new aftersales agreement.
From 2012, a wide range of Akrapovic exhausts designed specially for Yamaha models will be available exclusively from the manufacturer's authorised UK dealer network.
The unique items feature a laser-engraved Yamaha model-specific logo, but more importantly, have been designed specifically to enhance the characteristics of each Yamaha bike.
Having been a sponsor of Yamaha's racing teams for many years the two have built a complimentary relationship based on "the same high levels of commitment to durability, ergonomics, quality and design".
All the exhausts in this Akrapovic range are road legal are meet European Union regulations on sound levels and emissions.
The full range of motorcycle accessories included in the scheme and the pricing structure will be announced shortly.
