Spanish MotoGP star Jorge Lorenzo has been bitten by the Isle of Man TT bug and wants to go back for more, following a visit last week.

The Fiat Yamaha rider, who currently leads the standings in his discipline, headed to the island and completed a lap of the infamous Mountain Course before removing his motorcycle leathers to enjoy the Dainese Senior TT from the sidelines.

As ambassador for TT Races Safety Partner Dainese, Lorenzo now wants to get back on the street circuit for more practice.

"What an amazing experience. Now I understand why people enjoy the experience of riding at the TT," he said.

"I was able to make a few wheelies and wave a lot to the crowd - there seem to be so many people here."

Despite having watched TT footage and read all about the event, Lorenzo added that nothing can prepare you for the real experience, a feeling any biker who has ever been to the island will know well.
