Suzuki anniversary celebrated at Isle of Man TT

Suzuki exhibiton on Isle of Man celebrates TT

Suzuki's 50th anniversary at the Isle of Man TT is to be celebrated at this year's event with a temporary exhibition at the Manx Museum.

The Legends of Suzuki display, charts the five decades the Japanese bike manufacturer has enjoyed at the road races through motorbikes, film footage, motorcycle leathers and more.

Memorabilia from the likes of top riders including Mike Hailwood, Mick Grant, Graeme Crosby, Bruce Anstey, and Cameron Donald will be on display.

"Whether it is the classic Suzuki machines of the 1960s which capture your interest, or Bruce Anstey's Supersport TT wins of the last five years which you remember best, there will be something in this exhibition for you," said Matthew Richardson, curator of social history at Manx National Heritage.

Bikers will be able to interact with the displays through two Apple apps which offer maps of the circuit and video footage.
