P&H are supporting 'PUSH TO FREEDOM'

Push to Freedom was launched on June 6th 2008 at the D-Day museum in Portsmouth. The team, all ex patients from the military rehabilitation unit in Surrey, are planning to hand cycle over 150 miles along the Normandy coast in June 2009. The ride will follow the invasion route taken by the Military in 1944 and will be stopping along the way to pay tribute to those service men and women injured and lost their lives over the many years past.
With them will be a range of celebrity guests and injured serving and ex-service personnel. The aim of this exercise is to raise funds and awareness of our current and ex-service personnel who have been injured and provide assistance with their immediate needs such as wheelchairs and bathing chairs, giving them instant access to funds as they can wait up to a year just for something as necessary as a wheelchair.
