Kawasaki expands Team Green bike and motorcycle clothing support
Riders like Danny Buchan will be supported by Team GreenMore riders will be able to benefit from the support of Kawasaki when taking to the track this summer.
The Japanese manufacturer has responded to the success of the Team Green initiative by expanding the programme for this year.
Young racers involved in the scheme will get support from Kawasaki UK with the purchase of replacement parts and maintenance of the Ninja ZX-10R, as well as providing access to motorcycle clothing.
Kawasaki says it wants to help young riders get access to racing, but it is also looking to develop a talent pool from which its top racing teams can access enthusiastic rookie racers.
"With the support of Kawasaki, our sponsor partners and the guidance of our official superbike and supersport teams, the solid foundations are in place for another stunning season," said the racing coordinator for Kawasaki Motors UK,
Ross Burridge.
Kawasaki recently held an open day event at Silverstone to promote its new range of bikes for 2011.
