AA calls for political action on fuel pricing
Fuel prices have seen record risesBikers who are fed up of spending a fortune on fuel every time they go out in their motorcycle clothing have been urged to take action.
The AA wants all motorists who are unhappy with the record rises in petrol prices to lobby their local MP on the issue.
Following to tax rises at the start of the year - an increase in both fuel duty and VAT - the motoring group noted that the last month has seen the cost of petrol increase by 6.17 pence per litre.
With the cost of oil rising and another fuel duty hike set to affect bikers in motorcycle clothing in April, the AA wants a fuel price stabiliser mechanism introduced.
As such, it is calling on any disgruntled motorists to use the group's template letter to voice their concerns with their local MP, in a bid to spark a debate on the issue in the House of Commons.
