Motorcycle racers to feature at Goodwood festival
The glory days of racing will be celebrated at GoodwoodA host of racing heroes will be pulling on their motorcycle clothing again to wow the crowds at the Goodwood 2010 Revival.
Fan favourites such as Wayne Gardner and former MotoGP rider Jeremy McWilliams will be attending, racing classic motorcycles around the historic track.
Also getting back into their motorcycle clothing will be the former Isle of Man TT Winners Stuart Graham, Charlie Williams and Ian Simpson, while there will also be a tribute to the only man every to be world champion on two and four wheels, John Surtees.
Precise details of what bikes are to feature at the event on September 17th - 19th are yet to be confirmed.
These stars of the motorcycling world will be joined by legends from the four-wheeled racing world, including Sir Stirling Moss and Sir Jackie Stewart.
The Revival festival has been held annually at the Goodwood Motor Circuit since in 1998, in an attempt to relive the glory days when the track was the centre of the racing world.
