Nunn tests motorcycle clothing with race-ending crash
Carl Nunn crashed heavilySuzuki rider Carl Nunn was grateful for his motorcycle clothing after a heavy crash in the latest round of the British Motocross Championship.
Nunn struggled with the conditions from the off, finishing the first MX1 race in a lowly 13th place.
In an effort to make amends in the next race however, Nunn pushed too hard and found himself crashing heavily on a particularly tricky section.
While his motorcycle clothing kept him in one piece, his RM-Z450 bike was unfortunately so deeply stuck in mud that the rest of his race day was finished.
"Carl had a day to forget, but just needs to regroup and show us all what he's capable of in the coming weeks," said Suzuki GB team manager Mark Chamberlain.
Meanwhile, teammate Matiss Karro was also disappointed with his weekend, as a technical fault with his RM-Z250 forced him to retire from the first race.
Karro managed to recover to take a respectable seventh in the second race.
