Bautista hoping to finish Indianapolis without crashing
Bautista is hoping to cross the Indianapolis finish lineSuzuki rider Alvaro Bautista is to be fit and ready for the next round of the MotoGP series in Indianapolis, thanks in part to his motorcycle clothing.
The Spaniard crashed heavily on the final corner at Brno in the last round, and despite the protection afforded to him by his motorcycle clothing he was left with a very sore back.
He told the MotoGP website: "I'm still a bit stiff from my crash at Brno, but I have rested and let the injury heal properly so I will be ready for Indianapolis.
"I really need to finish a whole weekend."
Bautista has been in the wars lately - his motorcycle clothing has been tested during crashes at his last three races.
He was involved in the spectacular pile-up in Germany that resulted in Randy de Puniet breaking his leg, while he was then taken out by Aleix Espargaro at Laguna Seca before his mistake in the Czech Republic.
