The Marc VDS Racing Team racer, whose strong rides in Moto2 have reportedly attracted the interest of Ducati, is opening his own mini-moto academy in Wiltshire.
According to the Motorcycle News, the Scott Redding Young Riders Academy will hold an open day at Hullavington on December 29th.
Interested kids will get the chance to try the sport under supervision between 10:00 and 18:00 GMT. The event will also be used to unveil the full schedule for 2012.
Redding told the MCN that he owes his career to his start in mini-moto, and plans to play an active role in the academy.
"I want to give youngsters the opportunity to gain experience and I will be available at all the academy dates in 2012 to pass on my experience and advice, not just for the riders but also technical advice for parents," he said.
Redding became the youngest ever winner of a Grand Prix event in 2008, winning the British 125cc event at Donington Park aged just 15 years and 170 days.
