Clothing Manager

We are looking for an experienced Manager to join and head the team in our clothing department. You will ideally have at least five years’ experience in the retail sector and 3 years’ experience within a management position. An interest and knowledge in motorcycles is essential.



  • Drive the sales of clothing and related accessories to exceed budget.
  • Monitor forecasting accuracy and present/deliver recommendations to optimise clothing provisions in line with budget and future stock orders.
  • Manage stock levels, staying within the budget and adhering to the company’s obsolescence and stocking guidelines.
  • Carry out perpetual clothing stock checks every day to ensure the accuracy of the total clothing stock.
  • Ensure the best attention to detail when ordering stock.
  • Ensure accuracy of customer data collection at all times, providing valuable information for marketing activities.
  • Coach, plan and organise training and development for all clothing department personnel.
  • Contribute to meeting all departmental and company targets and objectives.
  • Conduct performance appraisals with your team every six months.
  • Carry out any other duties within the scope of the position.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of website data.

Parts Advisor

We require an experienced sales person to join the team in our parts department. You will ideally have at least two years’ experience in the retail sector, an interest in motorcycles would be an advantage although not essential as full on-site training will be given.


  • To consistently achieve overall parts sales volumes through retail, trade and workshop sales.
  • To consistently achieve overall parts gross margin through retail, trade and workshop sales.
  • Provide the highest level of service to your retail and trade customers.
  • Provide the highest level of internal service to the workshop to maximise technician efficiency.
  • Control all aspects of parts ordering ensuring it is correct every time.
  • Control all areas of parts stock through the order process, the parts returns process and perpetual stock checks ensuring quarterly / annual stock checks are correct.
  • To grow our £ note penetration per 5 and 10 yr bike parc
  • Contribute to meeting all departmental and company targets and objectives.

Motorcycle Sales Executive

P&H is looking for an ambitious, customer focused Motorcycle Sales Executive to expand their busy and highly successful sales team. The ideal candidate will currently be working in a retail sales environment, preferably, but not necessarily, within a motorcycle sales environment. Passion and knowledge of motorcycles is essential. If you feel you can show us that you have the enthusiasm and determination to succeed, then we will provide you with all the training you will need to become an effective member of the team.

As a Motorcycle Sales Executive you will be expected to:

  • Initiate, negotiate and close the sale of new and used motorcycles and associated products
  • Explain other products and services we offer which may also be of benefit to the customer
  • Ensure that anyone visiting P&H is made to feel welcome and valued
  • Conduct follow up and prospecting calls
  • Work productively and effectively within a team
  • Actively record all customer data on the dealer management system
  • Attend training on a regular basis to maintain product knowledge

Skills & Experience required:

  • A full motorcycle licence is essential
  • Preferably motor trade experience
  • Customer focused with excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Ability to persuade and negotiate
  • Able to organise and prioritise own workload with minimal supervision
  • Excellent administration skills
