Who we have worked with
All the Gear and No Idea - Men & Motors - Sky TV
If you seen this series, then you'll know that the motorcycles that these guys made over in LA didn't exactly match our UK laws which allow them to be ridden on the roads.
We helped them out with MOTs and getting the motorcycles road legal. You may have seen three of them in our showroom in Crawley for a while.
'A Street, A Track an Open Road' - A road safety DVD produced in association with the MCIA
Our Training School Operations Manager, Dave Easter and Instructor Steve Manning have worked closely alongside the MCIA and the production crews throughout the filming.
Presented by Suzi Perry, Steve actually starred in the DVD alongside James Toseland, Chris Walker and Bob McMillan as the courier.
'Get the Message - Act your age' - A scooter safety DVD produced in association with the MCIA
ART Motorcycle Training played a huge part in this making of this DVD. All the actors on the DVD couldn't ride scooters and needed CBT's to be able to film on the roads of London, so Dave trained all the actors and got them through their CBT's ready for filming.
Dave Wiggins also starred in this DVD as a stunt double with Steve Manning our Training School instructor who starred in a Street, A Track and Open Road.
Crash Stunt Idiots - Men & Motors
Dave Wiggins and Dave Easter were both interviewed in the showroom here at P&H Motorcycles in Crawley about the dangers of motorcycling and freestyle. They both appeared in nearly every episode.
Bikes Aloud - Men & Motors
We work closely with Hamma and Glamma Productions who were the team behind the great Bikes Aloud. John Cantlie and Chris Moss are good friends to many of us here at P&H and if there's anything we can do for them, were there! A lot of the motorcycles you've seen on the programme have been supplied by us.
Our freestyle friend Dave Wiggins has had two main features on Bikes Aloud, one of which show him jumping an old C90 30ft over a table top in his field at home and another was a feature all about the UK freestyle scene with John Cantlie trying his hand at Freestyle! Yes, you've got to see it to believe it!
Our Marketing Manager, Naomi Ford also starred alongside John Cantlie in a two minute feature on Horse Power V's Horse Power. Presented by the lovely Louise Brady, Naomi rode a stunning 16.2hh show jumper called Beryl and competed against Johnny on a KTM1000 over a cross country course through fields and woodland. 1 horse power v's 1000 horsepower and our four legged friend and Naomi won the competition hands down!
Bring back Bikes Aloud!!!
'As a business operating in the motorcycle industry we don't just want to be a shop, we believe that if we don't work together with other organisations within this sector to fight the ever increasing battle against legislation and laws then the industry that we all love so much will disappear.'
