We would like to say another big, big thank you, to you and the staff of P & H Motorcycles, Crawley, for your continuing support through 2006. Your contribution to our award for the 'Most Runs' in 2006, will be most appreciated by the winner I am sure.

This year it has become doubly apparent how great a need there is for our service. In 2004, we were called out 160 times. In 2005, the figure rose to 384. In 2006 to the end of October, we had been called out over 740 times. That equates to around two calls a night and a lot of volunteer hours and miles.

Since your help in providing us with a dedicated bike, we have been able to give something back to those riders. The volunteers now take the SERV bike for a week on call. The bike is fully insured, serviced and it has its own fuel card, thus taking the expense out of the equation for the rider. It also makes the rider much more visible, with the high visibility markings hopefully making other road users aware of their presence, keeping our riders safe and the journey quicker.
