However it's in the absolute thick of it that this Yamaha scooter really comes into its own. High wheels - 16" at the front and 15" at the rear - give an uncanny balance and agility, while the seat height keeps the centre of gravity low for amazing agility and manoeuvrability.

When you twist your wrist the power punch is instant, and so is the response when you squeeze the lever, as large front and rear disc brakes give you the confidence to go for the smallest gaps. And because the power is wonderfully linear across the rev range, you'll feel just as happy pulling away from junctions at full throttle as you will adeptly avoiding a suddenly-stopping bus.

The big wheels do reduce the storage a little, but you'll still fit in your lid or your briefcase, plus there's a lockable glove box in the front for added convenience.
