The new Victory motorbike, the Victory Hammer Sport, is a bad boy's dream. Designed around brute force, this monster boasts a 4-stroke 50° V-Twin 1731cc engine that powers its way to a top speed of 120mph. 'Aggressive' is the only word to describe a torque of 113 ft per lb.
And the makers of the Victory Hammer Sport, Polaris industries, don't stop there either. It would seem that just for a laugh they packed a 6-speed overdrive constant mesh transmission into this mad muscle machine, and then threw in electronic fuel injection to add even more hard core clout. But the makers of the 2009 Victory Hammer Sport haven't only upgraded the engine, they also slimmed it down by nearly 10kg (22lbs), taking extra bulk off the wheels.
When you're up riding on this bad boy you're saying you're at the top of the Layer Cake and no mistake. If the roar of the engine doesn't announce you have arrived then the custom wheels, chopped rear fender, bold curves, and beautiful paint job will, and not in a subtle way - the Victory Hammer Sport doesn't do subtle.
The 2009 Victory Hammer Sport features a 14% jump in power over previous models due to a new Stage 2 cam kit for the 106-CI 50° V-Twin engines that power this maddest of motorbikes. The new engine is now 1734 cc, instead of the 1634 cc of previous years, and with an impressive 97bhp this beautiful cruiser motorcycle delivers awe-inspiring performance time after time.
This is a truly great motorbike, and the upgrade in power, inverted front forks, 6-speed overdrive, combined with its beautiful design will ensure that Victory motorcycle sales don't nose dive, because every year the damn thing just gets more desirable.
