The sportiest beast in Victory's V-twin, 1731 cc bike range, the 2012 Hammer S has an understandable arrogance about it, and nowhere more than on the unmistakable engine itself. Bright chrome badges tell the world of its 106 cubic inch capacity and super smooth six speed overdrive transmission. Even the rear end is raised to ensure no one misses the mighty 240 mm rear tyre, with its distinctive red stripe detail. And it doesn't matter which finish you choose, because the intimidating black hole Hammer S LE is no less of a draw to the eye than the crisp white and red of the standard version.
Part cross country cruiser, part sports bike, with drag racer looks and muscle bike power, the Hammer S will have a broad appeal for Victory aficionados and Harley converts alike. And with 92 horsepower and over 100 ft lbs of torque, it won't disappoint, delivering arrogant, aggressive power across the range, from green light surges to effortless overtaking that puts others firmly in their place. What's more, the huge rear tyre gives the Hammer S a road hugging ride, with 300 mm dual front discs and 300 mm rear disc adding to the self assured feeling.
The Victory Hammer S 2012 is styled as a single seater, but Victory clearly know that this is a bike with more than one kind of pulling power, so you'll also find a second seat beneath a removable rear cowl to accommodate any welcome attention it attracts.
