New in 2008 the Honda Lead comes with an all new, liquid cooled, fuel injected 102cc engine, delivering plenty of nippy power to help you deal with the tightest traffic situations. It also benefits from a new light chassis and bodywork design that makes handling simple and sure. These are backed by a supple suspension system that soaks up the harshest roads, and responsive brakes that keep you firmly in control.
However, it is the sleek looks of the Lead that really attracts the attention. Smooth, fluid lines give it a fast look that belies its baby engine, with headlamp and indicators integrated into the front to ensure that nothing spoils the aerodynamic curves.
On board, the style continues, with a cool recessed instrument panel and generous under seat storage with ample space for your helmet. Just as generous is the wide comfy seat, with plenty of room for two up.
But for all the technology, easy handling style, and consummate comfort, perhaps the biggest ingredient in this new motor scooter is unadulterated fun. Like an energetic puppy, the Lead just wants to play, scampering along with boundless enthusiasm and the sheer enjoyment of life. It will make getting to work far more fun than you'll ever have when you get there, and you'll soon find yourself filling your evenings and weekends with excuses to 'just nip out'.
