Honda VT750C Shadow
The 2008 Honda VT750C Shadow Spirit looks set to continue the trend of being one of Honda's best-selling cruiser bikes. The 2008 model has seen a return to the use of a shaftdrive which, although it increases the overall weight, gives the bike a cleaner look and allows it to remain low maintenance.
The Honda Shadow's powerful 745cc V-twin engine produces impressive low r.p.m. torque, and substantial grunty power thanks to its twin spark plugs and three valve cylinders. The aluminium radiator, with cooling fan, keeps the engine at a constant temperature to increase performance and give it a longer life.
While the Honda VT750C is powerful, it still provides excellent handling thanks to its 41mm front fork, and large billet-aluminum triple-clamp on the chassis. This is further enhanced by progressive springs and plush front and rear suspension which, together with its bullet-style mufflers, also give the 2008 motorcycle a modern street look for the ultimate style statement. The wide chromed wheels provide excellent traction, particularly in bad weather. The chassis has forged pivot-plates and a large swingarm to provide a strong and sturdy structure. One of the most convenient features of the Honda VT750C Shadow is its solid state ignition and automatic cam chain adjusters, which further cuts down bike maintenance.
The 2008 750 Honda Shadow Spirit is a practical and well-balanced machine that looks set to be a popular addition to its class of cruiser bikes. For the ultimate smooth and powerful riding experience, the Honda VT750C will not disappoint.
